About Dr. Kathleen Tate

Dr. Tate welcome you to her practice and looks forward to providing you specialized, compassionate, and personalized care.  As a board-certified physician, she has decades of experience and understands the unique needs of women.   Her office staff looks forward to meeting you. From the comfortable waiting room couches and lounge chairs, to the cloth gowns in the exam rooms, and cushiony foot rests, Dr. Tate will provide a comfortable, confidential and comprehensive visit for you.


Dr. Tate was educated in Colorado, having attended Cherry Creek High School, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and University of Colorado School of Medicine. She received her post graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University. It was at Vanderbilt that her interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques began. She then taught medical students and residents for four years as an Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. She has recently retired from teaching medical students at University of Colorado and at Rocky Vista University.


Dr. Tate has been serving the woman's health needs in Aurora Colorado since 1998. Dr. Tate is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center of Aurora from 2001-2005 and served as Chair of the Woman's Service Line at the Medical Center of Aurora from 2013-2017.   She is currently serving as the volunteer medical director for the Salida Pregnancy Resource Center.
